Working with Schools and The College Merthyr Tydfil, we are helping young people to develop the aspirations and skills needed in the decision making of young people.

The ‘minimum offer’ pledges to support schools in a number of ways, opening up pathways and offering opportunities for successful transition to the next phase of education.

Connecting schools with businesses and employers is also helping to create opportunities for developing real life context for learning within the Curriculum.

We want to:

  • Support you with developing your curriculum offer, including the mandatory CWRE elements 
  • Create a range of opportunities for children and young people to aspire to be the best they can be 
  • Support children and young people to develop the skills they need to progress into their future career choices, ensuring they understand the pathways on offer.

The College, Merthyr Tydfil was jam packed with employers on Monday 10 July 2023, as the Cyfarthfa Cluster Primary Schools and Cyfarthfa High School, joined together in partnership with The College and Careers Wales.
