- Give clarity to parents and young people on the knowledge and skills required for different employment sectors and future apprenticeship models
- Provide a range of pathways for learning to ensure we support the needs and ambitions of every child
- Develop innovative ways to support the curriculum offer and contribute to raising aspirations and raising standards

The SEAL- The Business and Employer Pledge
The SEAL of Merthyr Tydfil employer pledge supports the vision that the public, private and third sectors will work in partnership, with schools and education providers, to connect children and young people to the vast range of opportunities available in the world of work.
Ultimately, the goal of the SEAL of Merthyr Tydfil is to ensure that all young people in Merthyr develop the skills and knowledge needed to secure a destination that enables them to reach their full potential, whilst contributing to the economic growth of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough.
